Daydreaming

Our first rain (technically second) of the season has come! The cool temperatures, wet pavement, and crisp air have me daydreaming of this scene...

Wouldn't you love to explore a city all day and then cuddle up with a blanket and book while listening to a storm rage outside?

I am Currently Reading...

A Year of Living Biblically by A.J. Jacobs. It's a story of a writer who decides to spend a year following the rules of the bible. He dedicates the first 8 months to the Old Testament and the last 4 months to the New Testament. Along the way he meets people who are completely devoted to various expressions of their religion and it's so intriguing to read his perspective. Jacobs is a witty writer who is able to interject humor throughout his experience, so it doesn't feel like he is being weighed down by the rules. I'm only about a third of the way through, but I am very much enjoying it so far.

Bossypants

I'm in the middle of reading Bossypants by Tina Fey and this book is absolutely hysterical. As I'm reading, I find myself laughing out loud and wanting to read paragraphs at a time to Robbie. Of course, it is not nearly as funny to him since he doesn't understand the whole context, but I can't help myself. After I'm finished I want to go on a cruise with Tina*, or maybe just hang out with her for lunch.
